The Autumn Season Is Ongoing

The Publishing House ‘Vikhola’ has published a wonderful book ‘To Hear in Ukrainian’. This book is so up-to-date that we have invited its author, Olga Dubchak, to Odessa and are waiting for a meeting with her.
A literary critic, Tetiana Trofymenko, who we have invited too on purpose from Kharkiv for this event, will be a moderator.

Thus:
❖ To Hear in Ukrainian: a conversation with a literary editor, Olga Dubchak, about the sounds and letters of the Ukrainian language, a correct pronunciation, double and even triple word-stress, interchange of sounds, and whether new spelling considers the pending issues that have been remaining without a requisite clear-cut solution for decades.

Olga Dubchak – PhD in Philology, literary critic, chief editor and co-founder of the Publishing House ‘Vikhola’.

Meeting up on 6th October at 5.00 pm in M. S. Grushevsky Library.

We are expressing our gratitude to the library for the partnership and hospitality!
